Dr Jonathan Rachman PhD MBChB Dip Pharm Med MRCP (UK)
Educated at University of Cape Town and University of Oxford, Jonathan brings two decades of industrial biotechnology and pharmacuetical experience to XRGenomics. Jon has led clinical development and research programmes, as part of senior management, at Pfizer, Eli Lilly and OSI Pharmaceuticals. More recently he established MapMyHealth Limited bringing software solutions to the management of Type II diabetes patient care. Jon is an expert in the field of GLP1 and has significant experience in patent-portfolio management.
Dr Ola Larsson MSc PhD (Sweden)
Ola is a leading authority on functional genomics, statistics and translational biology. After receiving his PhD at the Center for Genomics and Bioinformatics, Karolinska Institutet he was a post-doc at University of Minneapolis and McGill University returning to be a associate professor at Sweden's premiere biotechnology hub - SciLife - at Karolinska Institutet.
Professor Claes Wahlestedt M.D. PhD (USA)
Claes is Director for the Center for Therapeutic Innovation at the University of Miami. He holds the Leonard M. Miller Chair in the Miller School of Medicine and is the vice chair of psychiatry and behavioral sciences. A leading authority on functional genomics and neuroscience, Claes also spent over a decade working at AstraZeneca and was a Professor at Scripps and Karolinska Institutet. He has been at the forefront of RNA and non-coding RNA biology for over a decade. With key insights into neuroscience, drug-discovery and biotechnology, Claes brings a wealth of experience to XRGenomics LTD.
Dr Philip Atherton BSc PhD (UK)
Phillip is a leading authority on human molecular physiology and ageing. Following his PhD he was awarded a RCUK Fellowship at the University of Nottingham. He is the head of the MRC Center of Excellence for Musculoskeletal Ageing research group based at Derby Royal Hospital, Deputy Head of the post-graduate Medical School and acts as an advisor to a number of multi-national human nutrition companies.
